Summer Moot:
Held on Australia Day long weekend it’s a time to relax near the beach with the annual volleyball competition, Miss Moot and general fun in the sun.

Scout Ranger Regatta:
Held over the March long weekend it is the largest scouting event involving participants from across all scouting sections. It involves a range of activities both on and off the water. It rotates yearly between Snug and St Helens.

Easter Moot:
Held over the 4 day Easter break this moot is always popular and involves heaps of activities and fun, such as 4wd, motor bike riding and hiking. It has also been an avenue to assist the other sections activities such as the Coroboree.

Rover Reunion:
Held over the 3rd weekend in May, the Rover Reunion dinner is an opportunity to have a bite with the myriad of ex Rovers throughout the state. It rotates each year around the three regions and often involves BBQ’s or similar during the day &/or an evening meal somewhere flash.

Winter Moot:
Held over the 1st weekend in August, this moot always has a theme involved therefore once more Rovers Dress codes are put to the question…As it’s a colder time of the year, this moot is often inland and 4wd, skiing, snow boarding and tobogganing are often popular activities.

Brent Gaffney Memorial Raft Race:
Held on the 4th weekend in October, it’s a chance for crews to compete on one of Tassie’s wild rivers for this prestigious trophy. Tassie Rovers will soon be becoming more proficient in the art of rafting with the acquisition of top quality rafting gear and training to boot.

Crew Events:
Along with state-wide events crews also hold different events throughout the year. The Eastern Shore Cocktail night is not a night to miss, with a crazy theme and plenty of different cocktails and mocktails to drink. Also the Northern Area Rover Crew holds an annual winter Hut weekend at the Carr-Villa Hut.
